SensorProbe IP based Environmental Monitor
The Sensorprobe is an environmental monitoring server with built in web and snmp interface that monitors and reports on up to eight attached sensors and up to sixty io ports (unit alerts / dry contacts). The data from these sensors and any configured alerts can then be integrated into NMS systems or monitoring via the units interface.Ports
The unit has option of 2 or 8 sensor ports which can be used with any of the range of environmental monitoring sensors. Network connectivity is via the RJ45 Network port. Power to the device comes from the included power supply plugpack. The Sensorprobe also comes in models with either 20 or 60 dry contacts.Interfaces
The Sensorprobe has a built in Web Server and also comes with SNMP MIB file for SNMP monitoring of the device and sensors. The Web interface includes graphs of historical sensor results, configured events such as warning and critical sensor values and the ability to enable email and SNMP trap alerts.Alerts
Configured alerts can include emails and SNMP traps - eg. a temperature sensor could be configured with a 'warning' event at 35 and a 'critical' event at 40. Events can then be triggered by these alert levels to generate emails (or sms via email to sms gateways) such as "Alert - temperature on rack1 sensor 2 has reached critical level"Sensors
The Sensorprobe works with the full range of AKCP Sensors and will autosense and monitor any attached AKCP sensor. The most commonly used sensor is a Temperature / Humidity sensor which uses a single port allowing the other sensor port(s) to be used with other sensors such as airflow or rack door.
