Damocles

The Damocles range are units designed for monitoring and control of digital inputs and outputs (dry contacts). They function over WEB, SNMP, Modbus/TCP, XML etc. Different Damocles models have different numbers of inputs and outputs.

Damocles products are for monitoring devices such as

Basic products features

Damocles is designated for industry uses, the version supposes mounting on DIN rail, but the unity can be situated in the 19 RACK, or in the telecommunication environment.

  • Ethernet - RJ45 (10BASE-T - IEEE 802.3)
  • Up to 32 digital inputs (galvanic isolated) - possibility of contact connection
  • Up to 32 digital outputs - Open Colector or relay contacts (NC and NO)
  • Impulses scales for digital inputs
  • Temperature sensor on RS-232 - Temp-232 interface (-10 up to +80 C distance: up to 20 meters)
  • Controllable and setting over WWW interface from standard WWW browser
  • It supports communication network M2M protocols:
    • SNMP
    • XML
    • Modbus/TCP
  • Conditions for Alarm state
    • Digital input in the predefined state (0 or 1) during minimum time (0 up to 65535 s)
    • 2 groups Alarms
      • Group of states in the predefined values during minimum time
      • Group Alarm from digital states can control device outputs
  • Evocation of Alarm state after time defined by user
  • Alarm state alert (defined inputs configuration)
    • E-mail (SMTP)
    • SNMP Trap
    • SMS in the network GSM (over supplied software)
  • Security
    • access passwords
    • range of IP addresses
    • Any configuration change is possible prohibit by setting of mechanical switch on the device
  • Information about time of production of error state, system time automatically synchronized over NTP server  

    • Its possible connect different sensors to Damocles by digital input for the contact connection. In some models, there are available analog voltage and current inputs or outputs. 

     

    • Monitoring of tempreture sensors, opened door detection, motion detector, dangerous gas etc..
    • Remote switches of lighting, door locks..
    • Processing of external inputs and outputs in the telecommunication
    • Connection of external inputs into SCADA systems
